Hello there everyone

It is mini challenge tme at Mrore than Words Challenge and we would love for you to play along.

I made this tag using Maja Designs patterned paper, Heartfelt Creations die-cut, Flutterby Designs journaling strips and some flowers.

The Challenge is to create a card or tag using the word One. So here is my tip: I did not have any words swith the word one so i simply cut the d from the word done and added a complimentary word to finish my strip.

Please come and play along with us and show us what you create.

Till next time have fun

#52cafecards January Challenge Week 1

Hello dear friends

I'm back on the blog today sharing a small little project I created just for fun. Yes it's been a while since I entered challenges but it is definitely something that I would like to do more this year.

Marta Lapkowska created a Facebook page called Maremi's Creative Cafe. She invites all kinds of crafters to come and share their work and be part of this wonderful, careing community where people can inspire and encourage each other and be free to express their art.

As part of this she started a new challenge where you need to use playing cards to create 52 cards in 2017, each with it's own theme. Week 1 started off with the theme "Art".

This is my take on it but make sure you pop in and play along.https://www.facebook.com/groups/939245982873406/permalink/958166220981382/

Hope you join in too.

Kraft Plus January 2017

Hello dear friends

I'm back on the blog today sharing my take on the January challenge at Kraft +.

This month's challenge is to create a layout, card art journal or off the page project featuring a bicycle and as always to use kraft paper. You can interpret it in any way you wish to so come and play along. 12/on-your-bike-january-challenge.html?m=1

I was inspired by the images in the moodboard and vintage bicycles. This photo of my cousin and his gorgeous wife was perfect as bike rides gives us the opportunity to explore the beautiful things in life rather than rushing about. At the same time it symbolizes the journey together and all the ups and downs along the road. What inspires you, how do you interpret this challenge? I can't wait to see so come and join us.

Till next time enjoy creating

I used some beautiful chipboard pieces, Alcohol Ink, Prima Marketing Finnabair Acrylic paint and Colour Blast goodies to create this.

Please stop by on the blog for a full tutorial on how I created this.  http://www.scrapfx.com.au/blog/

I'll be back soon sharing more layouts for January challenges so please stay tuned and pop in again. Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hello there dear friends

Wow it's January and the new year started with a bang. Hope you all had fun celebrating.

Speaking of celebrations I kicked off the year with my first share  for More than Words. Have I mentioned how thrilled I still am to have the opportunity to be joining these amazingly talented group of girls?
We are also celebrating  our first bithday at More than Words. This month the challenge word is Celebrate and the Creative challenge is Bling.

I was inspired by these photos of my cousin in law and her bridesmaids celebrating her wedding day.  I incorporated bling by die cutting the word celebrate 3 times out of gold foil paper and used it to matt my photos.  Gold flowers and sequins were added to mimic the festivities and cature the magic of this wonderful day.

I do hope you will join us this time to play along with us and look forward to seeing your creations. As always there are some fabulous  prises up for grabs so make sure you come and check it out.

Wishing you all the best for the new year.
