Such a great day to remember

Hello dear friends

I hope you are well and hopefully you can sit down with a cuppa to relax in between the mad rush that goes along with Christmas and the end of the year.

I'm back here today sharing a beachy layout using the beautiful Seaside Collection.

As you can will see I've used little scrap pieces of paper to create a textured background for my photo.

I chose to use the beautiful newEnchanted Petals, a couple of Laser cut images and fine pieces of Arcival board to embellish the areas around my photo.  Laat but not least I finished it off using Dusty Attic Chiipboard.

Remember Today

Hello dear friends

I'm back here on the Dusty Attic blog sharing this layout I created using the beautiful creative script background and 49 And Market Papers and flowers.

I was inspired by the beautiful mixture of colours in the background and wanted to create something subtle and pretty. The creative script chipboard was just perfect. You will note the that I  cut it so I could spread the pieces around my photo area.

I then used a single leaf to lead the eyes
to the title and photo area.

Last but not least I added a  couple of 3DPowertex balls from 13@rts to finish it off.

So quick and simple, yet effective. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Merry Christmas

Hello dear friends,

It's December, and so another year has almost gone bye.  It just feels like it has gone so fast. Do you agree? Since we are at the start of the festive season, I thought I'd share this Christmas layout, I created using our beautiful Winter's Edge Collection.

I was inspired by this photo featuring, my colleague, her son and Santa, with the Christmas tree and toys in the background.

I wanted to include some of the 49 And Market twine and tied it to the top of the page, creating a triangle on the left, to lead the eye to the photo.

Given the time of year, I thought  of all the letters Santa would be receiving from all the children across the world. It occur to me that the Post Card and letter on the Bonus sheet of the Ethereal Collection and Stamps from the 6x6  Bold and Beautiful laser cut sheet are the perfect embellishments s around my photo area.

I loved the background paper and wanted to create  a textured photo matt using 49 And Market burlap.

As you can see the flowers I chose to use are a combination of the just released collection and a much older collection. I also added a couple more Laser Cut Images from the Winter's Edge Collection.

Last but not least I finished it off with a couple of berries, Christmas inspired stickers and 3D Powertex Balls from 13@rts.

Dusty Attic Cards

Hello dear friends

Welcome back here on the blog.  Today I would like to share my take on our  Moodboard for December.

For my last post for 2019, I decided to do something different and create 2 cards rather than a layout.

I chose to use the beautiful Aqua Flora Collection from 13@rts as it perfectly suited our Moodboard  with it's rich purples and teal hues.

I absolutely adore the Creative script background and decided to ink it in white and use it as a base layer for all my embellishments.

Next I painted a mix of the cogs with 13@rts Glow Colours to allow it to stand out against the beautiful flowers from 49And Market.

Last but not least I added a sticker sentiment to finish it off.

Some kind of wonderful

Hello dear Dusty friends

I hope you are well and having a wonderful day. How quickly did this year go? I can hardly believe that  we are almost in December...

I am back today sharing this layout, inspired by our stunning November Moodboard. I am sure you will agree the colours are just beautiful. So if you have not participated yet, be sure to join in.

So for today's layout I selected a couple of different pieces of chipboard which I coloured with  13@rts Matte Paints and White Brilliance Ink.

I started by stamping a bit of texture to the background using Archival Ink and 13@rts stamp. Next I added a paper doily and strips of lace and patterned paper to create a bit of texture around my photo area.

I then used the Broken Marakesh pieces to ground my design and the beautiful chipboard doily to lead the eyes to the photo.

I decided to embellish it using these beautiful flowers from 49 And Market. To complete the flower clusters,  I included little chipboard leaves, painted with Olive Matte Paint. I could not help to also add these cute little toadstools, which was the perfect addition to my background.

Last but not least I added the beautiful mini captions title and a couple of fussy cut elements, stickers and 3D Balls.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Picture Perfect

Hello dear friends

I am back on the #49AndMarket blog today sharing this layout I created using a variety of new and older 49 And Market products.

I just love our burlap trims, especially this cream one. It makes it so easy to create a bit of texture and interest around the photo.

As you will see, I added some of the stunning 3D Embellishments to create different layers around my photo. I also added leftover Archival board branches.

For the flower clusters, I used some of the older 49 And Market roses in combination with the recently released Country Blooms.

To finish it up, I added a gorgeous chipboard title from Dusty Attic as well as little stickers from 13@arts.

Wedding day

Hello dear friends

I am back with you today sharing this layout I created for our October Moodboard.

I selected  this gorgeous background paper from the 13@rts, Grungy Walls Collellection and was inspired by the soft roses in the background.

Selecting my chipboard was easy from here. I just knew that I had to use this stunning Rose Cluster from our Dusty Attic Collection.

I don't know about you but I
absolutely adore these chipboard pieces. They are just perfect for adding a floral , but elegant look to any layout.

To add a bit of greenery I added a couple of leaves, which I painted with a mix of 13@rts Shiny Powder and paint.

To put the focus back on the photo and create a  balanced look I added a bit more than half of this stunning  chipboard doily.
